Adam was born in Blue Island, Illinois. He was raised the majority of his life in South Suburb of Chicago called Sauk Village. Growing up Adam was always intrigued by the way things worked. From a young age Adam would tear down his toys so he could see how they worked, often times he would modify the toy to work the way he wanted. He would add a reverse gear, or lights, or maybe some sort of noise to the toy.
Adam has worked developing his skills in several different areas including, appliance repair, HVAC, and battery service and installation. However, his true passion is small engines.
Adam met Angela in 2003 and they were married in 2004, that is when Adam moved to Bloomington, which was Angela’s home town. Adam fell in love with the area. They currently live on the Northwest side of Bloomington with their three fur babies- Brewster, Layla, and Lucy.
Adam has always wanted his own business and a few years ago the opportunity presented itself. Angela became ill and was unable to work. Adam knew that his full time job was not going to be enough, so he started doing side work repairing small engines. In 2013 AMH Repair was born. Adam ran AMH Repair out of their home/garage for 2 years. In 2015 they decided to open a full time store front, and here we are today.
Adam and Angela believe that God has led them to this Chapter in their lives. They give great thanks for the blessings the Lord has given to them. They know that as their faith and love grow for the Lord, so will AMH Repair.
4May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. 5May we shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God. –Psalm 20:4-5, NIV
